The FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council®) promotes and safeguards global forest resources and makes an important contribution to the future of our children. It operates independently and is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation. FSC™ certification ensures compliance with ecological criteria, including the preservation and protection of biodiversity and forests themselves, the ban on dangerous pesticides and illegal logging. On the other hand, the FSC™ is also committed to people and, for example, monitors comprehensive compliance with workers’ rights, health protection and occupational safety.
